Here’s a video of Psalm 130, which we’ll be singing this Lord’s Day at Midlane Park ARP Church. The words are from the 1650 Scottish Psalter. I’ve changed the tune slightly to Crimond (same tune as “The Lord’s My Shepherd, I’ll Not Want”).
Martin Luther wrote a hymn based upon this psalm. Below is a link to modernized version (from the RUF Hymn Book); the lyrics can be found here.
Thanks for the video. I got our my 1929 Scottish Psalter and sang along. I preached today at an active retirement community on “The Pilgrim Psalm” – 107. See Jim Boice’s commentary for details. Thank God he has attentive ears and plenteous redemption.
Cool beans! Are you gonna play the PowerPoint while you sing it? 😀
beautiful
Play the PowerPoint?!?
Now there’s a thought!
