I finally broke down, joined the 21st century, and bought a Kindle yesterday (I know, some of you have already called me a sell out). But I was already accessing Kindle books on my iPod Touch (very handy to have when you are in standing in line somewhere and would like something to read). And the simple fact is that I am rapidly running out of shelf space and need to be more efficient in the way I read and store books.
You don’t have to have a Kindle to make use of the technology. Simply downloading the Kindle app to your personal computer will allow you to read ebooks. And you don’t necessary have to pay for books. Most of what I have now is free. And there are a lot of free books out there. Consider, for instance, the large number of Puritan works that are available. I will post some links below that will take you to websites with lots of free books (many of these were created by a very industrious member of The Puritan Board). Enjoy!
- Puritan Library
- Puritan Books, Volume 1
- Puritan Books, Volume 2
- Puritan Books, Volume 3
- Puritan Books, Volume 4
- Puritan Books, Volume 5
- Puritan Books, Volume 6
- Machen’s Christianity and Liberalism
- Books by Bavinck and Ridderbos

thanks
